About my Financial Practice:
Practice Partners: Jeff Speers, RICP®
As a CFP®, we take a holistic approach to financial planning and investment management. We treat our clients like family, helping clients solve complex problems in the simplest way possible. We bring more than two decades of combined experience to financial advice and portfolio management.
Investment Management Style: Custom portfolios with emphasis on owning quality companies that generate positive cash flow. We manage multiple models and align clients to the models that are best designed to meet their goals based on their specific set of financial goals and circumstances.
A Chicagoland native, Josh is now a transplant to the incredible state of Florida with his wife, Mary. While he misses much about home (mainly the people and the pizza), he wouldn't trade the move to the sunny (and FREE) state of Florida.
Josh spent more than 5 years as a lacrosse coach during and after playing in college (MCLA DII). His claim to lacrosse fame is leading the MCLA DII in assists, evidencing his ability to make the pass to an open teammate to ensure the team had the best chance at victory. This team mentality is what led Josh to join Rise Financial Partners in 2023, to be apart of growing and building a dynamic firm that cared deeply about the success of its clients.
Josh is an active attender of the 360 Church in Sarasota, FL participating in the churches discipleship program as well as a men's small group (where they mostly play pickleball). He also occasionally writes for a new Christian theology podcast called On The Vine.
